The Internet is a powerful tool. It has the power to change the way we live, and we're starting to see that potential today. With only a few clicks, you can follow the news, look up facts, buy goods and services, and communicate with others from around the world. It's important to MPD to help our customers retain their privacy as they take advantage of all the Internet has to offer.

All policies are subject to change without prior notification at mpdparts.com discretion.


Notice We will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (Personal Information) or allows us to contact you. Generally this information is requested when you are asked to register before downloading free software, entering a contest, ordering e-mail newsletters or joining a limited-access premium site. We use your Personal Information for four primary purposes:
 
  • To make the site easier for you to use by not having to enter information more than once.
  • To help you quickly find products, services or information on mpdparts.com.
  • To help us create content most relevant to you.
  • To alert you of special offers, updated information or other new services from MPD.

Consent If you choose not to register or provide personal information, you can still use most of mpdparts.com. But you will not be able to access areas that require registration.
  If you decide to register, you will be able to select the information you want to receive from mpdparts.com by subscribing to various services, like our electronic newsletters. If you do not want mpdparts.com to communicate with you about other offers regarding MPD products, programs, events, or services by e-mail, postal mail, or telephone, you may visit the mpdparts.com, Customer Profile Center, to establish your preferences and/or edit your personal information.

Access We will provide you with the means to ensure that your personal information is correct and current. You may review and update this information at any time at the Customer Profile Center. The Customer Profile Center is the equivalent of a visitor center. There, you can:
 
  • View and edit personal information you have already given us.
  • Tell us whether you want mpdparts.com to send you marketing information, or whether you want third parties to send you their offers by postal mail.
  • Sign up for electronic newsletters about our products.
  • Register. Once you register, you won't need to do it again. Wherever you go on mpdparts.com, your information stays with you.

Security mpdparts.com strictly protects the security of your personal information and honors your choices for its intended use. We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Enforcement If for some reason you believe mpdparts.com has not adhered to these principles, please notify us by e-mail at info@mpdparts.com, and we will do our best to determine and correct the problem promptly. Be certain the words Privacy Policy are in the Subject line.

Warranty

Micro Product Distributors (MPD) provides a 90-day warranty from date of invoice on all non-consumable products manufactured and/or sold by MPD.

If a non-consumable product malfunctions during the first 90 days after it has been invoiced to a customer, MPD will be responsible for all costs associated with repairing the item including the cost of replacement parts, shipping charges for return of the item to the customer, and the cost of labor to repair the equipment by a company employee or a contracted third-party service technician.

After the first 90-days from date of invoice, if the product malfunctions, MPD will not be responsible for the cost of any repairs or replacement parts. The customer will be responsible for any shipping charges incurred and the cost of labor to repair the item or replace it.

Products not covered - MPD will not be responsible for equipment malfunctions that are the result of damage from accidents or misuse by the customer. MPD will not cover "supply" or "consumable" type items sold with the equipment (e.g. toners, bulbs, etc).

Warranty is subject to be voided if product has been noticeably tampered with including, but not limited to, spilled liquids, cracks, removal of identification numbers such as M.P.D. serial numbers, and removing or breaking warranty seals.

Return Policies

All non-consumable products sold by MPD may be returned for repair / replacement only within the 90-day warranty period from date of invoice.

Products being returned to MPD must first obtain a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. An RMA number is valid for 15 days from issue date. Products received by MPD with an expired RMA number will be refused and returned to the Customer at Customer's Expense. NO return of any type will be accepted without an RMA number.

All returns must be shipped with freight prepaid by customer.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable on returned items.

MPD recommends that the customer fully insure the return shipment in case it is lost or damaged and to use a carrier that can provide proof of delivery for their protection.

All products must be 100% complete and:

  • free from damage, including damage due to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or disaster, or an act of God
  • free from damages as a result of usage outside the parameters stated in the machine or product's User Guide
  • free from damage as a result of service by another company other than MPD
  • free from modification

Micro Product Distributors is not responsible for damage to or loss of any programs, data, or removable storage media. MPD, at its discretion, may charge a restocking fee of $25 or 25% of the purchase price, whicever is greater, or reject any return if any of the above staments are violated.

Advance
Exchange

Advance exchange orders allow for like-for-like part exchange of in-warranty parts with required paperwork.

In-warranty parts are fully credited to customers's account when MPD receives the defective part within 15 days from the shipment of the replacement part with a valid RMA number. In most cases, a replacement part is sent to the customer before they return the defective part to MPD.

Defective parts received within 16-30 days from the issuance of the RMA will be credited the cost of the part minus the restocking fee of 25% or $25, whichever is greater.

Defective parts returned after 31 or more days from the issuance of the RMA will not be credited to the account and may be subject to be sent back to the Customer at the Customer's expense.

ALL advance warranty replacement part order will require a valid credit card (if the customer does not have credit line with MPD) before shipment. If the defective part is not returned within fifteen (15) calendar days, the customer's credit card will be charged for the unreturned part.

D.O.A.

In the event that a part or parts purchased fail upon first use within the 90-day warranty period, a replacement may be ordered through the returns department. An RMA number must be issued before returning the defective part or it will be refused and sent back to the customer at customer's expense. The replacement part will be shipped with no additional freight charges applicable.

DOA's must be return within 15 days from the date of issue of the RMA number. Failure to do so may result in rejection of the return or only partial credit applied to the incident.

Parts returned for DOA purposes that are found to be in good working condition may be applied restocking fees of 25% of the purchase price or $25.00, whichever is greater, or rejected and sent back to the customer at customer's expense.

Good Parts / Unused

No products may be returned as 'good' or 'unused' for credit.

Restocking Fees

Restocking fees of $25.00 or 25% of the purchase price may be applied at MPD's discretion to returns that are past due the allotted time frame for return.

Shipping All orders purchased from MPD will ship the same day the order is placed. Freight cost is calculated based on the weight of the package and it is the customer's responsibility to pay all applicable freight charges. All shipping cut off times are eastern standard time.
